Indian middle-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, on Wednesday, tied the nuptial knot with fiancee Puja Pabari, at a family function at Rajkot.
The ‘hast melap’ ceremony was performed at 8.15 pm at the private plot located on Kalawad Road. On Tuesday evening, there was a ‘sanji’ ceremony where woman sang traditional marriage songs. This was followed by the ‘dandiya-raas’ at his house on 150-feet Ring Road, the newspaper report added.
The three-day wedding functions started last night with the ‘Sangeet Sandhya’. The marriage rituals would take place this evening followed by a reception tomorrow.
He won’t have much time to spend with the wife as he would be joining the Indian team by February 15.
