Although not used by most of the world’s countries, daylight saving time is common in the Western world countries like United States of America, Canada, some countries of South America, Parts of Europe, parts of Australia and New Zealand.

Daylight Saving Time begins for most of the United States and Canada at 2 a.m. on the second Sunday of March and the Time reverts to standard time at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in November.

In 2013, these dates are March 10, 2013 and November 3, 2013.

Note : Daylight Saving Time is NOT observed in Hawaii, Arizona with exceptions, Midway Islands, Wake Island, small region of Alaska.
