Ganesh Visarjan 2012 Route in Mumbai – Lalbaugcha Raja, Ganesh Galli Processions Route

The largest Ganesh statues which are installed by Sarvajanik Pandal are usually immersed on Ananta Chaturdasi — 11 days after the first day of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.

The main attaraction of the day are the Immersion (Visarjan) processions of the Lalbaugcha Raja and Ganesh Galli Ganesha Idols. Lahks of people attend this procesion.

In 2012 Anant Chaturdashi will be celebrated on 29th September 2012.

Lalbaugcha Raja 2012 Procession Routes :

The procession for the immersion (visarjan) of the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh Idol starts out at 10 a.m. from the Lalbaug market on the final day of the festival, and takes the following route: Lalbaug, Bharat Mata Theatre, Lalbaug, Sane Guruji Marg, Byculla Railway Station, Clare Road, Nagpada, Dunkan Road, Don Taki, Sant Sena Maharaj Marg (Kumbharwada), Suthar Gully, Madhav Baug, C.P. Tank, V.P. Road, Opera House, Girgaon Chowpatti.

Ganesh Galli Mumbaicha Raja 2012 Procession Routes :

The procession for the immersion (visarjan) of the Ganesh Galli Mumbaicha Raja Ganesh Idol starts out from 10 a.m. from the Lalbaug market on the final day of the festival, and takes the following route: Dr. S.S Rao Road, Ganesh Cinema, Chinchpokli Bridge, Arthur Road Corner, Saat Rasta, Sane Guruji Marg, Agreepada, Dr. Bhadkamkar Marg, Opera House, Willson Collage, Girgaon Chowpatty.
