Feliz Año Nuevo 2014 : Spanish New Year Greetings & Wallpapers

1st January i.e., New Year’s Day (Nochevieja or Fin de Año) is a public holiday in Spain.

In Spain the new year celebration begin with a family dinner, traditionally including a Spanish Omelette, shrimp or prawns, and lamb or capon.

People also greet each other saying ¡Te deseo un próspero año nuevo! which in English means I wish you a Happy New Year!
